“Prayers for Healing” This painting is on display at Clay Space Gallery in Columbus, Ohio until early December.

Don’t miss out on this limited edition run of prayer paintings. I’ll be accepting orders only in December and January. Click here to get in contact now!

How it works:

  1. We’ll start with a quick conversation (via phone or e-mail) about the person or group your commissioned painting will be created for. I’ll need to know a bit about your hopes and intentions. You may have a clear idea of the prayers you want to have said and the word you want to feature on the canvas, or we may discover this together in conversation. We’ll decide the prayer theme and the featured word as well as the color theme(s) and any small flourishes you may desire. We’ll also confirm your preferred shipping method.

  1. Payment in full is collected before work begins. All payments are made via PayPal. Not familiar with PayPal? No worries, you don’t have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal – I’ll help you through how it works.
  2. I’ll begin to paint and pray over the canvas. Prayers are layered in with each brush stroke – often scratched into the paint itself. This is my favorite part; it’s a true pleasure and an honor to do this work in partnership with you.
  3. Optional: Excited? Nervous? No worries – I’m happy to send you a work-in-progress picture (about half the way through) to make sure we’re still on the same page.
  4. You’ll receive a finished painting photo for final approval. Important: after final approval has been given, no refunds will be granted.
  5. Your painting will ship!
Detail: “Prayers of Worth” Notice the layers of joy and love scratched and written into the paint.

Timing: Depending on how quickly we move through the commission process described above, the painting can ship out in as few as 4 days after our initial contact. In general, the process takes about 10 days from our first contact. I’m happy to discuss any timing and shipping concerns you might have. If you have specific deadlines, need me to mail the painting directly to your recipient, or require additional (non-standard) shipping insurance – please just ask, but do note that additional fees may be applied to the commission price.

This colorful pair were commissioned by a woman in Ohio for her and her close friend in Florida. It was a special joy to craft these together knowing they were going to two loving friends that are united in their love for each other if separated by physical distance.
